Hermes Clear Vinyl Kelly Souvenir Bag

The Queen of PVC Bags! This piece was designed in 1997 as a limited edition version of the "Kelly" but in clear transparent PVC (vinyl). This was following a design in Spring/Summer 1996 for guests of the Hermes Fashion show when clear bags became mandated for security checkpoints. Attendees of the Hermes Fashion Show were gifted a version of this design which had the invitation printed on it saying 'SEE THROUGH KELLY BAG (A SPECIAL FOR SECURITY BAG CHECKS'. Rendered with gold-plated hardware, a single flat top handle, white logo print at face. The gold-tone turnlock opens up to a PVC lining that has ample room for documents and essentials. Such a collectable and timeless piece.
